Great deal on spares

Works great, good price, great deal. The retraining part of the 2001 Impala gave me problems, I had to do a 10 minute key for 5 seconds, 3 times the process, everything worked fine after that

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Useless features

Worked great for ignition starters

My key broke off on ignition. I couldn't find anyone who could do the job and being mechanically turned on I did it myself over the weekend. It wasn't easy and took about 10 hours, but probably saved me between $4 and $500 in labor. Not that I want to do it again, but if I had to, I would. Ty amazon for savings and fast shipping.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Weight

Easy to install and great price.

The most difficult and time consuming part was removing the panel, disconnecting the connectors and the negative battery terminal, pulling the airbag fuses. There are several YouTube videos to help with the steps and procedures. I didn't get any instructions so the help was complete. After anti-theft car retraining, the car started right away! In total it took about an hour.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Expensive

NO REASON TO PAY DEALER PRICES!

No need to pay retail prices! We installed this part in about 30 minutes. This seller even has a YouTube video on their website showing you how to install it. Before ordering, call the dealer's parts department to get your VIN and the listed part number you need for your repair. This ensures you get the right part the first time.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Hard to say

Corvette C5 Installation

So yeah this works great on the Corvette C5 where it's purely plug and play in terms of wiring. There is a downside. The key cylinder is beveled inwards instead of outwards like the original, so the plastic key ring prevents the key from going all the way into the cylinder. You not only need to trim the factory car cover, but also use a grinding tool to enlarge the circle of the keyhole on the plastic part. Fits great afterwards. Finally, the VAT sensor is no longer used. So if you're measuring

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly Torn
