Description of Cciyu Replacement Speedometer Backlight Lighting

Diameter:4.7mm ; Operate Voltage: 12-14V, 95ma. Application: Perfect for Speeometer Cluster Backlight. GM automatic heater controls: 2003-2006 GM full size trucks and SUV's with automatic heater controls only, they will NOT work for manual controls. 1997-2004 Buick Park Avenue, LeSabre, Regal Century with automatic heater controls only. 1997-2004 Corvette with automatic heater controls only. These bulbs will have to be soldered to the PC board. You will have to completely disassembled the Cluster to get access to them. The blue socket can be discarded when using these bulbs. Please NOTE: If the LED does not light up, simply Rotating it 180 degrees (reverse the polarity).

Not Bright Enough for Automotive Use

The backlight on this product was severely lacking and made it difficult to read the speedometer while driving at night .While it was easy to install, the poor quality lighting was a major letdown..

. Higher voltage than 12v as they glow a dull orange light much dimmer than the picture

The bulbs have been received and appear to have a higher voltage than 12V as they give off a dull orange light, much dimmer than the picture. Spring. CCIYU 10x Mini Bulb Lamps for GM Speedometer Cluster Backlight 12V-14V 95MA (10 pieces)

Pros
  • These bulbs need to be soldered to the circuit board. You must fully disassemble the cluster to access it. The blue cartridge can be discarded when using these lamps.
