Nice light that looks great.

It's a good light but not great, looks great. It was not rated higher solely because of the light intensity and the lack of a remote control. Otherwise, it looks great and is great for low ceilings.

Easy to install and unique look

Love this new mount. I redecorated my entire room with the perfect lighting. It's very bright and beautiful. It fits perfectly in any room. The design is very original and modern.

BRIGHT WHITE on lighting and ceiling fans

This is a stylish lamp. It's very bright, but too bright for the room I intended to use it in. It's such a bright, bright white light that it looked more like garage or warehouse lighting than interior lighting.

Too bright for a bedroom or bathroom - even the kitchen!

This is a nice device (worth 5 stars) but the brightness! . This light is not 42W or equivalent. It's so blindingly bright it's unbearable. Such an inaccurate description. This is a very cold glare. Also not dimmable. . What a big disappointment. I read many reviews beforehand. But never read if someone else agrees because they are too smart.

Wife Enjoys Close To Ceiling Lights

Need more to say? I thought no. ;-) But seriously, although she is VERY happy with the lamp, which is good for having chosen it, I also like it because it illuminates the room it is in more fully. None of the lights we tried glowed as evenly throughout the kitchen before the few under counter light strips we installed became redundant. The appearance of the kitchen has changed a lot from before and for the better.

The device is good, but the problem with the installation.

As others have said the pictures of this lamp are misleading. Go with the sizes they give. You are accurate. Also the instructions provided are almost useless. You get almost the same help when looking at real light. Unless you're knowledgeable about electrics, this probably isn't something you want to install yourself. The rectangles are well packaged to ensure protection that is difficult to remove and I was afraid of scratching the surface. I installed it and am very happy with the way it…
