Drill bit size 10mm closer to 11mm. The 3/8" dowel and the included 10mm dowels fit freely in the holes and will dangle in the holes. 8 and 6 mm drill bits work well.

The bad design is that it shifts when you drill it, causing the hole to go into the wood at an odd angle. So the holes can be "centered", but they're at odd angles, making alignment a lot harder than it should be.

I hope this smart little gadget will find many uses in my workshop. It's almost as pretty as Kreg's pocket-hole attachment, but has no visible fasteners, leaving you with clean, finished woodwork. I bought it on sale so the price is great too.

This works as intended. There's nothing crazy about that, and I'm not one of those people who work with wood every day. It did the job I needed and future jobs of the same caliber. I'm no pro, but this worked fine for me. What I like is that it doesn't take up too much space in my toolbox.

Thanks to the dowel tool with offset center line system, you no longer need to create templates for every width or tree. It's as simple as just placing the template on the edge of the tree and making sure each end of the template is snug against the tree, and bingo you have the exact center to drill a hole with the template! But more importantly, with this product you have three (3) different variable depth drill bits for different applications and dowel diameters. Or use your own bits with the
