I am giving this bowl 5 stars. I wanted to give it 4 but changed my mind because the only problem is actually my cat, not the bowl itself. My cat is on a wet food only diet because of his megacolon condition and he is also missing one upper canine tooth and also is a bit special. His food area = war zone of cat food goo and meat chunks. My Maine Coon loves the raised bowl. First time he has stood up while eating kibble. I like that! I also like the fact that you can only add a small amount of kibble at a time as my Maine Coon needs to watch his weight. I think the lip of the bowl needs to be made bigger because kibble does fall out randomly and once it hits the floor, he refuses to eat it. So for me there is waste. This works really well for my cat. I use it for wet food and the food doesn’t get stuck up the sides like with our previous dish. You do have to be mindful when you wash it to make sure you get all the water out of the bottom or it will drain out when you place the dish down.

The raised in slanted angle of the ball makes it much easier for the cats to eat their food and finish. And the cute little kitty faces make it really nice for me
