Chicken Coop Heat Source

Use ceramic heat lamps in chicken coops as a cold weather heat source. Much safer than a red ball and significantly safer. I usually use 250w when available.

Doesn't heat up at all

I have two of these in a mount and both together are not enough to adequately heat a tiny 20 gallon tank. It's 150W, so anything under 150W sure is weak for something.

The seller does NOT respond to emails or support their warranty claims

The product has worked well for two months with occasional use. BOTH lamps failed after about two months. I contacted the seller and never received a reply or a replacement of the lamps. So not much use if both fail after just two months of limited use and the packaging says an expected lifespan of over 15,000 hours. Not even close.
