So far it's better than the metal versions.

This is only my second ceramic cleaner. The first one (from another manufacturer) broke after a few years. But the blade here seems to "bite" a bit unwillingly, depending on the fruit. The mango and kiwi skin seems to give it time. It can also be a bit wider. It is easy to hold and washes well.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Faint set

Broke after 6 weeks

Item worked well until blade broke. Ceramic blades are said to require machining for longevity, but the blade broke after six weeks of use. I previously had a similar metal bladed peeler that has lasted me for 20 years so I think I will return to this style. I just want to order a replacement blade, but I can't find it online.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Too dull

The grip is great. The blade is made of plastic.

Excellent grip. Easy to hold and durable to use. The blade is made of plastic like the rest. He moves around a lot, changing position and making peeling harder, not easier.

Pros
  • Blade guard for safe and easy storage
Cons
  • Fade

Best Cleaner Cleaner

Extremely sharp, just the right width and at a slight angle. We use this daily for cucumbers, apples and potatoes - a quick peel with very little nutrient loss inside.

Pros
  • High quality ABS material, dishwasher safe
Cons
  • New competitors are here

This is only my second ceramic spatula. The first one (from another manufacturer) broke after a few years. But the blade here seems to "bite" a bit unwillingly, depending on the fruit. The mango and kiwi skin seems to give it time. It can also be a bit wider. It is easy to hold and washes well.

Pros
  • Ultra-sharp ceramic blade, prevents fruit, vegetables and potatoes from browning
Cons
  • I won't say anything
