Barely lasted 2 months before it stopped working properly. I have to wiggle it and hold the phone properly for it to work. I use it in my car for about 40 minutes 5 days a week on my commute. Disappointed, didn't last longer. I was happy with the length of the cable and the sound quality until it stopped working properly.

Bought this for my car so my daughter and I can play music from our phones. It had a lot of noise and played unevenly on the speakers in the car depending on the position of the cable. It hasn't been used much and yesterday the pin that connects to the phone broke off. I was very disappointed with this product and probably should have sent it back immediately.

Worked just over a week. More or less. Right out of the box it would unplug and then work again if I unplugged it, plugged it back in, etc. That was before it just stopped working. Just buy a Bluetooth car stereo, I will do that. . Lightning on aux is just a bug. Even the Apple Lightning to Aux Adapter isn't that good.

I tried different phones, different cars and different songs to give preference to this cable when in doubt, but the sound quality is the same for all. I can hear the music very well, but the lyrics (voice/singing) are so quiet I can barely hear them. I even tried changing the car radio settings but to no avail. waste of money. I hope they send me a replacement so I can check if I just received a defective product and it's not just about the quality of the product.

This aux cable is just perfect for playing music from my iPod in my SUV and the sound quality is fantastic.
