I always wonder about the quality and safety of a cheap imported filter (made in China) that claims to clean the air. Everything certified? Also, the fit and finish wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either.

Matches my 2010 Volvo S40 T5 R Design. The exchange was an incredible agony, I had to remove the gas pedal. However, for someone who is very knowledgeable about cars, it only took about half an hour of my time. Worth the time rather than paying the dealer $100+ for it.

The perfect upgrade for your vehicle's HVAC system. The instructions say 10-15 minutes, should be enough if you have an automatic - just fold the mat behind the gas pedal. I have a manual transmission, which means more like 45-60 minutes. You need to completely remove the gas pedal.

Perfect fit for our Volvo S40 and it was a good price on the charcoal filter. (Then it costs $17). However, when I pulled the old one out, I noticed that it was heavier than this filter. See my customer picture. It has 30 pleats, another brand (NPN) has 40.33% more filtration area than this one.

This made a huge difference in the smell of my relative's 2008 C30. I replaced this filter, then cleaned the leather with Meguiar leather product (smells great) and vacuumed the carpets. I think the filter that was in it was original (only 42k on the car but still almost 10 years old) which is why replacing it with this Fram Fresh Breeze filter made such a big difference. The car doesn't make me sick when I enter it now! Smells great and will likely smell thousands of miles away.
