We tried on 5 different brand name masks before this one and none would fit comfortably with her glasses, or they pushed her glasses around on her face and gave her no filed of vision. This was ordered for my 8-year daughter who plays travel softball---20+ tournaments between the fall and spring per year. Bella is not your average size 8-year old. She is in the 99%-tile for height, and therefore her build and also her head is not the normal size of an 8 year old. She loves the mask. Says it is light-weight, easy to play in, and she loves the built-in pony tail holder on the strap.For the money--- we highly recommend!

Bought this for my daughter as she pitches for softball and safety is my number one concern. This face mask is amazing. I have used it for when I catch for her and it has saved me from potential hazards.Will admit though, the padding on the chin guard could be a little more comfortable, it does cause some itching. As a senior softball player, I play different positions, so I don't always need a mask depending on which position I am playing. For this reason, I wanted a mask that was not super expensive, since I don't need it all the time, but was still comfortable and offered good protection. This mask is perfect for what I need. My only advice is that, while this mask fits me well, I am six foot 180lbs, but if you are a larger man with a big head, you will need a bigger mask.

I bought this to use as a catcher for slow pitch softball to prevent foul balls from hitting me in the face. It works well enough. The "foam" that is on the chin though is pretty hard and uncomfortable. For the price, I would expect a little better foam. Overall, it does the job though.

My 9 year old daughter plays rec softball as well as travel softball so I ordered this to protect her face. This fit her perfectly. The straps are easy to adjust and the padding is velcro so it's easy to position for ideal comfort. The metal guard provides protection, but doesn't hinder her view of the ball. I definitely recommend this for anyone playing softball!

Bought this for my daughter to play little-league softball, and it did its job. She never got hit in the face with a ball to truly test it, but it's built sturdy and she said it was comfortable to wear even with her glasses on. And it was nice that she was able to get it in her school colors.

After a concussion, this was the only way the wife was gonna let me play anymore. I have an abnormally long face and had to bend the mask a little to make it fit!

There's only one size for youth and the chin guard doesn't match up with my kid. Otherwise though it's functional for a 7 year old and helps her be more comfortable with the ball.

Good face mask will definitely save you a trip to the dentist or a bruised face. Got this for my daughter in adult size she had never worn a face mask before so i heard nothing but complaints from her for about a week until she got used to it. If your child hasnt worn one before youll most likely experience the same thing theyll get used to it.

This piece seems very well made but the fit of it was horrible. I am 6'2" 250 lbs and have a huge head. I tried numerous times to get this thing to fit properly and no matter what I did, it was either not comfy or not tight on my face. The way the straps are arranged on the mask, I could never get it to fit snug against my forehead AND chin at the same time. The 'padding' on the forehead area is not really padding. In my opinion, mask is must for all softball pitchers. My dad is a softball pitcher. He is older and the other players are much younger, but still in good shape, but his reflexes have slowed down a bit. I purchased the mask because i was worried. I bought this as I play catcher and infield in a coed softball league and had taken a foul tip to the face. I was happy when it arrived as it fit me, a 25 year old averaged sized female, fairly well. The padding is harder but after some adjustment and breaking in it is comfortable though slightly wide on my face. we got this for our daughter because we were afraid of the hard plastic one she had, we thought this would be a good fit for her but she complained about the way it fit on her head, it kept falling down on her face and it was bugging her a lot so to say she ended up playing the rest of the season out with the hard plastic one and had no problems!Our daughter is under 10 years old if this helps!

This is the second one my daughter purchased. She wanted a different color. Plays 18u and high school. I feel she’s protected and she’s confident. Says it’s light on her face. Told her she could get any brand style and she said she wanted another champro.

This fits my five year old perfectly right now and looks like it should adjust well as she grows. I was worried it was a little heavy and she would balk at this, but this wasn’t a problem at all. Would recommend!
