cuts wire like butter

Bought after reading the New York Times Wirecutter review for a better wire cutter. What difference does it make in my artisanal production.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Something different

Strong, durable, comfortable

Make your cutting job easier - Romex, nails, hanging wire - whatever I throw at it - they'll go straight through! And they're American made!

Pros
  • High test scores for hold and durability
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

great cutters at Power & Hand Tools

I bought these for my wife as she makes floral arrangements. I no longer cut wire rods for them, they are strong enough and comfortable enough for them.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • High Price

American and Quality Craftsmanship

Without a doubt the best cutting pliers I own. They'll probably continue to work great long after I'm gone. Stop buying cheap junk and spend a little more for quality.

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • Lots of Stuff

did the job: hand tool

I needed to cut stainless steel fish hooks and my wire cutters are failing miserably. These got the job done with ease. On the other hand, each cut of the fishhook left a small indentation in the blade of the wire cutter.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Safety

The Best Wire Cutters I've Ever Owned

These wire cutters cut better than any I've ever owned (and now I have five or six others). I use them to cut bale wire and they are great. If I complain about something, then the rubber pads on the handle slip off too easily. This may be due to the amount of oil left from the factory and I hope this improves. But they are worth every penny.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

This is a really good tool

As an electrician, I use hand tools on a daily basis. My current toolbox is a mix of Greenlee, Klein and Wera. I'm replacing my commonly used Klein side cutters with these and fully expect them to perform better. They came with greased hinges, the edges are perfectly finished, the handles feel super glued. Just a note: in the description this is called a side cutter, which to me means the head needs to be tilted relative to the handles. This is not the case, the head and arms are in a straightโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Code Blue handles are designed for durability and comfort
Cons
  • Out of style

About the best bits on the market

If not the best. If you cut a wire with these things, it looks like you're cheating. Because it runs so smoothly, you'd think you're cutting stupid putty. I checked out a YouTube channel where he compared a number of cutters. It was one of the best he showed. So I got the set. The first thing I did with them to see how good they were was cut from 1/8" stainless steel. I try as hard as most other aluminum cutting torches. In fact, I didn't think that it's rust free, I should have checked twiceโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High Leverage Universal Joint
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
