love this watch - everything from the two tone case to the moon phase dial. The open dial allows you to see the time without opening the lid itself. Follow the instructions that came with your watch to open and close the lid and wind the watch. Be careful not to "rewind" and I'm sure you'll have something that will last. You don't need to buy a separate chain as it is included. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good mechanical watch and tired of wristwatches.

The best thing about this watch is the looks. The hands don't rotate from the center of the dial, making it difficult to read the time, made worse by the lack of a seconds hand. Looking at the watch, I thought the little dial on the left was the seconds hand, but it's a 24-hour time format that's just superfluous compared to the sun and moon dial next to it. He also gains about a minute a day, which is very disappointing when you're spending that kind of money. Although it looks nice.

The watch was beautiful and my husband loved it. It was a gift from me to him. After about a week the watch stopped working and we found that no store could repair it. The parts needed were more expensive than the clock. If you buy this item, please keep the box etc just in case.

As advertised and a very attractive watch in my opinion. It tells the exact time, but I just miss the seconds hand because I'm used to having one, although I rarely use it.

Although attractive, I found the 24 hour function unreadable. I like day/night and being able to see the flywheel. I replaced the stainless steel chain with a silver one. The presentation box is good.
