I have not yet swam in this shirt so I wouldn’t know how well it performs there. However, my 5 stars is based on fit, quality, and style. It fits great, I sized up because I didn’t want a tight fit and it’s perfect for me. The fabric is high quality and it looks exactly like the picture. Will update when I’ve tried it out to swim and for UV protection.

This top is a lovely color and well-stitched in comparison to the other oversea's clothing items I have purchased.However, the biggest problem I ran into was sizing. I'm 5'4, 135 lbs and can typically wear a M or S. I read every review on here and initially had a medium cart. Then a friend let me try on her swim shirt. I'm 5'6", 130-135 lbs, small chest, long torso. I typically wear a medium at Banana Republic/J Crew but a small with brands like Lands End/LL Bean. I ordered a medium and it's about as small as I'd want it to be. It is tight on my arms and is form fitting without being tight on my torso. I wouldn't want the shirt to be any shorter, but the length is ok. Overall the shirt is flattering, but you might want to order up a size if you're looking for a more relaxed fit.

I like the color, and the fit is tolerable and something I can live with, though the company really needs to change the pattern's cut. The sleeves are way too long for a person with normal length arms. I will push the sleeves up to elbow length so they don't hang way over my hands. I wish that more attractive tops like this would be available that fall just below the elbow. I looked and looked and found nothing appealing, so decided to take a chance on this one. I sent the 1st top back because on close examination there were tiny pulls in the fabric as though it had been stapled. The return and replacement was hassle free and I'm very happy with this top. Love how it looks and it keeps me from getting fried in the Florida sun.

I used to look on with bewilderment when I saw people doing yard work while wearing long sleeves and pants even on the hottest of days. I preferred wearing a bathing suit top and shorts to stay cool. This shirt is terrific. It is lightweight fabric, and fits properly, not to tight, not relaxed. It is perfect for swimming laps, in that it blocks the rays, but doesn't weigh you down. I ordered a large, which is my usual size.

Size was just odd. I probably needed to go a size up because it fit me in the chest area very tightly and I'm only a B-C cup depending on maker. But then other parts would have been even comically big. For example I have never tried on a shirt where it was a snug fit all over except the shoulders. What is going on there? And the arms were really long, down to my knuckles long. Are you supposed to bunch these up on your arms? Your also going to want a sports bra if clearly defined nipples are…

This top is flattering and very comfortable. I use it for my deep water aerobics classes. Would definitely recommend. The shirt may not be suitable for all weather conditions.

Runs small. I usually wear small but ordered a medium and fits snug. Not much stretch but colors and fit are attractive. That's my review.

Great fabric but runs extremely small. I read the other reviews and thought I'd order up 2 sizes. Received in 2 days but had to return unfortunately. Fit way too tight! Not flattering at all! If you order 3 sizes up and expect a tight fit, you won't be disappointed.

I'm 5' 10½" and 150 lbs. I ordered more than a handful of this type of shirt to try on in my quest to have something that fit for days I go to the pool. (I gained about 10-12 lbs since covid.) Use these daily. Wish arms were shorter but that is because I have short arms! Beware- rinse in fresh water as the chlorine in our pool does make the colors fade. I have three and am very happy!

I have a couple of other spf/rash guard items and this one is the most beautiful.however, it is so much thicker, heavier weight that I think I will only use in the winter Caribbean months. I was looking for something lighter that would be able to dry quickly and keep me cooler out of water. It will probably make a winter shirt, though.
