HoMedics Ozone Clean: Chemical-Free Disinfectant 🌬️ Spray for a Clean, Safe, and Fragrant Environment Review

This product has not been subjected to any quality control. The device didn't work from the start. Instead of working for 2 or 4 minutes, the device shut down after a second and stopped working.

I never used the product as it was defective from the start. I believe it was a used and returned product which was then sold to me. The nozzle is broken and the base is unstable. Very disappointed!

The 1st and 2nd units were faulty as they didn't load the water in either the 2 minute or 4 minute mode. The HoMedic customer service advises only to send it back and order a new one (pathetically long waiting time at Zero). HoMedic is now on my exclusion list due to poor quality control and customer service.

Just as the return window was closing on Revain, the sprayer just broke. Never dropped or overused. I'm wondering why the sprayer just fell apart. I think this was maybe the 8th or 9th time I've used it. I can't tell from the outside, rather something is broken or misaligned on the inside. This product appears to be poorly made.

I tested with two almost identical agar plates that had a 1/4 inch thick bacterial growth in the center. I followed all directions and used the 4 minute setting and used the spray straight away. After this was finished, the cup I used to spray water with 03 actually grew more bacteria than the control cup, the bacteria that were there dissolved as a spray and didn't die, instead they quickly grew out of the control out of here. An elegant little machine for the price. I have large ones that are hard to get hold of and set up so I needed something in the kitchen for quick use. I did 50 cycles with it and used denture water for kitchen sponges and pet odor. When the sponge stinks, I take the lid off and pour all four ounces into the sponge and it's spring fresh again. This item was accidentally purchased TWICE. I was browsing the product on the Homemedics website and saw a link where I can purchase the product from Revain for $99. The unit appears to work as advertised, it puts ozone in the water which I can actually smell in the bottle right after it's created. However, there is one critical flaw that has caused both the original and replacement units to become unusable after just a week of use and that is the atomizer trigger.
