What Died In Your Car

I have bought several new cars in my life and I can say with confidence that this does not smell like new cars. I would never buy a new car with that smell. I asked 4 people to tell me what they think of the smell and the responses ranged from "what died here" to "something is fishy". I've bought several Chemical Guys products and have been very happy with all of them, but they fell short on this one.

Unbelievable! best air freshener

I just bought a new car because it smelled like an old ashtray. Seriously, the previous owner must have been smoking with the windows open all the time! I've never smelled a car half as badly. The retailer tried everything to get rid of the smell but in the end they just reduced the price. I used Chemical Guys New Car Smell once and the smell was almost gone. I sprayed some on a rag and wiped the headliner, seats, carpets, etc. Then I turned on the AC and sprayed some under the dash where the…

More 'perfectly clean' than 'new'

This is the only 'good smell' used in my car and it produces a very clean smell. It's not as "new car" as a real new car, but it gets a lot of compliments from passengers, and combined with a clean interior, it raises the question "Is this a new car?" comment quite often , so I'm not disappointed. If you're looking for that new car smell, you probably know by now that the actual smell of a new car comes from various chemicals and agents in your interior carpet, seats, etc. that are ventilated…

Do not buy. Buyer Warning!

I bought this product and cleaned my car and the overspray didn't get on the dash but most of my display was covered in a matte white coating that won't peel off Got the sensor on Panel installed in his Mercedes. I called the company and asked if they had ever experienced this and they told me no. After seeing the feedback that someone else had a similar situation, I posted photos and explained my situation. The company contacted me to say I should use the product and it is wrong, intention and

You've just found the best "new car " air freshener on the market!

The dealer lied to me! LAUGH OUT LOUD! They said I would never get the smell of my new car again because it was the combination of materials the car was made of! NOT CORRECT! The chemists did it! Closest to the "real" smell of a new car! I'm pretty sure this is one of the few true "new car" air fresheners on the market! I've tried many and they all fail! At the price you can't go wrong and I'm sure this bottle will last forever. I've had mine for almost 4 months now and it looks like I've…

It is best to dilute according to the manufacturer's recommendation!

I read most of the previous reviews before deciding to buy this product. Also, after reading the reviews, I was wondering why no one has taken the manufacturer's advice and instructions? They stated that the product can be diluted enough to make a 2 gallon spray. So I put it to the test. Now anyone can repeat my math but I took 2 gallons which equals 128 ounces. The product itself weighs 16 ounces. Divide 128 by 16 = 8. So I went further, instead of 8:1 I diluted the ratio to 16:1. 16 ounces of

Seriously, one spray will do the trick.

Bought a used truck that must have belonged to the Marlboro man himself. By the way, what I learned from the devices stored on the radio is that he calls himself "Big Al". In any case. The truck smelled so bad. I replaced the cabin air filter, disassembled most of the dash to remove hidden ash, vacuumed the carpet, seats and headliner then did 2 rounds of shampooing. It helped a little. I then sprinkled some white vinegar on all of the above surfaces. After leaving the place for about a week…

Works perfectly; but use it sparingly! UPDATED after 1 year.

Due to mixed reviews I was hesitant to try this product. I'm very glad I decided to try it! My car has seen family rides, diaper changes in the back seat, spilled juice boxes, etc. My car smells amazing after using this product. No, it's not an EXACT "new car" perfect match, but it's definitely the closest I've ever found and I will use this product over and over again to keep my car smelling like new. Be sure to listen to the other reviewers and DILUTE this stuff first and use sparingly…
