I've only had these drill bits for a few months but I've used them enough to get an idea of their quality. They are sharp and cut through mild steel and aluminum. I got them for gap issues in my mini router, but I also found that the short length allowed me to skip drilling a pilot hole with a center drill; They are much less inclined to "walk".
What sets these bits apart is their extremely short size. I'm having trouble finding bits with enough Z spacing on my Taig router. I bought these bits with an ER-16 metric collet set (to hold the bits directly instead of using a Jacob's chuck) and it made a world of difference. Now I can use most sizes in the set at the same time with the vise. The price is so nice too, I don't know why I didn't switch sooner.
