According to the instructions, the blinds come with an allowance of 1/2 inch. So if you buy blinds that are 35.5" wide you should get 35" I received a window 35 1 / inside size 4. I ordered 35.5 and wanted a 35" width with a small shackle allowance ( less than 1/8) fits in. Guess? All the blinds I've ordered are just over 35 or just over 1/8th. Definitely not 35 inches. I bought other sizes and they have the same exchange problem. Do not buy if exact size is important to you

We had to order a large (58 inch) blind. The blinds were easy to install and looked great on the inside. We had an issue with the center mounts. We had white blinds but the brackets are silver. The blinds were for the front window of our house and from the street you could see two silver brackets contrasting with the white blinds. We ended up taking them down and painting them white. UPDATE: (original review below) Just wanted to mention that these blinds have been surprisingly well received by my dog after about 3 months of indoor use. I'm really happy with it and based on the 1 inch blinds I can't believe how much extra light is blocked when they are closed and how much extra light they let in with large gaps between each slat when open .
