Description of Chihiros WRGB II 30-120 Aquarium LED Light, Full Spectrum App Dimmable RGB Light with Aquatic Sunrise Sunset

Chihiros WRGB II - 90 light, 100w, 6200lumen, suitable for 90-110cm rimless tank with glass wall less than 12mm. The WRGB II by Chihiros is an LED system series, which serves the complete colour range of aquatic plants with its optimised design of differently coloured LEDs. It is particularly suitable for densely planted tanks and plants that need intense light. The WRGB II makes red, green and blue colours shine especially vividly. The light-system is programmed via the "My Chihiros App" directly and does not need an additional commander, which makes a notable difference to the LED series WRGB I. The app offers individual control over the three colour channels "R" (red), "G" (green) and "B" (blue), as well as individually programmable daily phases. Sunrise and sunset can be imitated, too. There is no need for an external timer because all schedules can be saved as desired. The LED case is splash-proof at level IP43 and, therefore, made for usage above open tanks. The lamps of the series WRGB II are not designed to be used under a closed top. A special cable suspension kit is available separately.

Great light but lots of design flaws

The light would be perfect if the My Chihiros app for controlling everything wasn't totally buggy. You can get it to work, but it's not well rated for a $350+ flashlight. Second, the power supply has a non-threaded portion so the cable is simply inserted and held in place by friction like an auxiliary cable. Quite surprised, the quality is not better for the price. Then Made in China again.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Disappear

Great light for the money

Really great light, the first unit I bought had a problem with the power supply. After contacting the seller, he quickly solved the problem and now the light is perfect. It gets really hot at max settings but I keep it 3 stops below max where it still puts out enough light for my 8 gallon nano without getting insanely hot. Even at 3 levels below max I still get excessive algae growth so it's definitely strong enough.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • dim

Nothing but light for fish and aquatic animals

Sure it's a good looking light, but it has so many features that other lights don't come standard with. bright! It suggests using an app that connects via bluetooth, but it doesn't work. I've been sitting here for hours trying to connect it. He advertised a remote control dimmer that was not included in the kit. The frame it rests on is flexible, thin and falls out of the socket as soon as you pick up the lamp. I don't understand how this product has more than 2 stars

Great RGB LED for the money

Bought this ADA Mini M aquarium light. I really wanted an RGB LED and this item had the low profile design I was looking for at a reasonable price. I was concerned that there were few reviews. Now that I have this item, I can say that it provides enough light for the Mini M. It's significantly brighter than my Finnex Stingray RGB LED and slightly brighter than the LED that came with my 16 gallon Fluval Spec V. There should be no problem growing plants in bright light with 5 gallons of CO2. The…

This light is incredible.

It was well packaged and very bright. Much higher quality than the Chihiros RGB I had previously. The radiator is much thicker, the legs of the stand are much better and more aesthetic. I like black more than silver because it doesn't take as much attention away from the aquarium. As for the color of the light, it's closer to the cooler side, more blue than orange. I think that makes it incredible. My low-iron aquarium looks much better with the light on than it does with a regular incandescent

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

PLEASE READ EDIT BELOW REVIEW: I have two of these lights for my 36 gallon fresh water tank with dense vegetation Bought. The lights worked very well for several months, although I did notice that they got quite hot. One has a couple of LEDs that are still working and some have burned out and the other unit has stopped working completely. This is very unfortunate and unacceptable as I have not even owned them for a year and they claim to have a 50,000 hour lifespan. I would not recommend this…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
