Really like this truffle slicer. It is excellent for cutting garlic and other vegetables. It's so pretty and comes in a nice storage bag. The seller got back to me and provided great use and care instructions and some great tasting recipes. Really great customer service. I will definitely buy from this seller again.

I bought this for a one time use. I use them to slice jalapenos on southwestern salads and nachos. They work great and deliver thin slices. Just be careful not to cut your fingers. Easy to set up, easy to clean and well made. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend or family member.

If desired the truffles can be cut very thin without breaking. I haven't tried it on other foods like garlic or shallots, but it seems sharp enough to slice those foods as well. I see no reason to spend twice as much on a wooden handle. It can only make washing difficult as it cannot be washed in the dishwasher.

Although it's actually a truffle slice and a chocolate razor, I bought it to slice garlic. That's great! I was tired of slicing garlic by hand and like mine, some pieces were larger than others and took a long time to cut. But with the truffle cut, every thin slice of garlic was perfect. Just got a set of these. One for a gift, one for me. I've been cooking at home for a number of years and am interested in finding and using new tools. This works very well. I got my hands on some Australian winter truffles and this little guy nailed it. I must say that you must be careful when using such a tool, it is very sharp and can hit you if you are not careful.
