Bought this for my daughter. She was so happy when it arrived but very disappointed ☹️ when I used it on her hair. I followed each step and used almost all of the purple chalk, but there was almost no trace of color left in her hair. She was expecting to see her hair, like the picture on the box. Not even close. Don't waste your money, it's not worth it. I requested a refund and it was approved.

The price was great. But we didn't manage to use it like in the pictures, like a brush. We had to take the paint off the stick and use it like that. A little dampening of the color pad helped color the hair faster than it dried. Once the color was on, it looked great.

I bought it to mess with my son. He always dyes his hair so last time I visited I thought I'd come with light hair myself! He liked it and we had a lot of laughs. I was also pleased that all the color washed out easily and I was my normal hair color! Super fun stuff. I think the kids will love it!

Colors are GREAT! I gave it to my daughter as a surprise as she was interested in dying her hair. She was very excited to open the box and try them on. Since she has dark hair, she has to reapply it. The combs are small, she could easily hold them and apply them with her little hands. I'm really starting to doubt the reviews I've read about this product. They all seem impressed by this color comb. Actually, everything is not that great. Firstly, if your kids are sensitive, just keep looking, this product is not for you. They really need to work it into their hair. Second, the color isn't even close to being as bright as in the photo. And finally, chalk makes her hair very sticky and tangles her terribly. I'm considering asking for my money back. Our daughter saw people with different hair colors around and really wanted to dye her hair. which is NOT an option at her age. Enter the hair comb! We followed the directions on the box, gave her the color to choose from and applied it to damp hair, then used the blow dryer. Her blonde hair color meant the color wasn't dramatic, but it was enough to keep her happy and easy to wash off with regular shampoo in the shower when she was ready to change color.

I bought these for my kid and to be honest they are just awful. I'm a licensed stylist so I've had a lot of experience with bright colors but haven't figured out the best way to use them yet. Due to the waxy consistency, the hair always remains sticky and uncomfortable. Unfortunately I don't recommend them, I thought it would be a good compromise for my daughter who wants pink and purple hair, but I'll keep looking because it's not a good solution. I enjoyed this product. The only problem was that the pink was quite sticky so my daughter's hair was not easy to style. However, it was washed out that night and did not color her very blonde hair. It was great fun. We'll be using it again for a crazy hair day or just for Saturday fun.
