Tie-up posts - good idea - bad quality.

Bought two identical sizes, one for small dogs and one for medium dogs. Within a week the hook buckled, the spiral buckled and came out of the ground, too warped to be of any use. So the average dog has small dogs and I use bush stumps as a backup. If your dog(s) don't pull, this works for small dogs.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • New Competitors

They work as expected and they are perfect! We ended up taking our puppies on a hike to a state park where puppies must be leashed. When they weren't walking next to us, we took them with us and they were perfect for the trip. We ended up adding paracord to the end to make attaching dog leashes easier and it worked well. Overall I love them!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Holds tight, won't stretch or bend.

I put this in pretty hard clay soil. I used a 24" breakbar inserted into the eyelet to tighten it as much as possible (by applying downforce and turning at the same time). I see my dog running almost full speed all the time until his chain runs out. and I have not yet seen the stake move. I can't move it at all. I'm not concerned about the durability of this stake and it should serve us well for years to come.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Some problems

Great versatile anchor!

Works as intended except I don't actually tie my dog up, instead using it as a secure ground anchor for my hop vines. I love that they are absolutely strong yet allow me to move the anchor without much effort if I need to reposition sisal cord, hop shoots are growing/creeping to reach their full height. I can see these anchors being suitable for medium sized dogs - they are definitely strong anchors compared to my 45# Australian Cattle Dog!

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Empty

Satisfied with the rate, insane packaging.

This works exactly as it should but I had to remove the beginning as the packaging was ridiculous. I ordered two and they were packaged as if they were dangerous weapons. They were in one of the biggest boxes I've ever seen - complete rubbish (maybe the poster tube was the answer?), and they were all wrapped in bubble wrap, although there was a thick rubber-plastic lid at the pointed end. And then a huge empty box was filled with crumpled brown paper. Otherwise a great bet.

  • Easy to read control panel

  • Some cons

It works but curved ones are better

As a new dog owner I didn't really know what types/things were available and realized that a harness is a harness. Not so. I have 2 beagles and just wanted one bet for both. It REALLY did its job. However, I recently discovered the arched tie and will never go back to this style. This guy tangles and tangles and tangles and I never understand why there's a hole in the top triangle? Anyway, I went for the arched type and although two dogs curl up there aren't any serious tangles that can be…

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Works as advertised.

What about the pet box? It works. Well I can tell you more. I bought this to use as an anchor to anchor my outdoor stored gas grill. So for me the main requirement is safety, it has to be securely fixed in the ground and the metal has to be strong enough not to break out as the top "triangle" has an open space and is not welded. I took the ring off, not needing it, and buried my own almost to the top of the handle. From unscrewing the metal holding the ring, the metal is very strong, it took a…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
