My mother's phone had so much noise it was interfering with caller ID and preventing conversations. I tried to find one of them locally - I went to two stores and they don't sell them. I ordered from Revain and it came quickly and as soon as I installed it the noise was gone and their caller id started working again!

The first step in testing for interference on phone/digital lines was to replace the DSL filters. This filter has been replaced with a very old filter. Simple plug and play installation, one line is for PHONE and the other is for DSL, which is clearly indicated by the embossing on the plastic. FYI, the problem wasn't with the DSL filters, it was with the crossing phone lines. Now everything is in order. Happy with the new filters. Works great so far.

This is exactly what I needed. After turning on DSL in our cabin, I noticed that all the phones just had static when you answered the phone. It would be nice if CenturyLink warned me about this. This device allowed me to split the signal coming out of the wall outlet so that one side of the split went to the new modem/router and the other side to the phone line. I also only got a filter without a jack connection, which was only used for a telephone.
