The appearance of this wine bottle opener is very elegant and modern. The scope of delivery includes useful accessories such as a bottle spout and an aluminum cutter. The only thing I don't like is that when the corkscrew hits the cork, I still have to use force to pull the cork out.

I bought this to replace the rechargeable device. There was no reason to keep the opener plugged in and using electricity all the time as it would open many bottles on a single charge. But if there is no charge, I cannot use it until it is charged again. It runs on batteries and works much better. When the charge runs out, I change the batteries. It works great with rechargeable AA batteries.

We ordered the wooden version. Installation was very easy (insert 4 AA batteries). I particularly liked the "set of accessories” that came with it: foil remover, drip-free pour spout and we already use a vacuum wine stopper. I would definitely give it as a gift. Whether you're a fan or a beginner, this is a fun and useful corkscrew set. Great value for money and it feels solid.

I like this wine opener. A few years ago I bought an expensive wine corkscrew that kept turning the bottle even when I held it still. I have a hard time using a regular corkscrew, even if it's expensive. It's easy to use. I like that it is battery operated. I don't have to leave it on the counter to charge it. Buy it's useless. I almost never used all 5. There is a foil remover in the kit. That works great too. I think now that I can open a bottle I'll drink more wine.
