100A Inline Circuit Breaker Reset Fuse, Manual Reset Fuse Holder for Car Audio, Stereo Switch and Solar Inverter System - 2 Pack, 12V-24V DC Review

Bought 4 of these switches for a small 12v solar panel. Currently 3 of these are working at around 20 amps which keeps the system from charging my batteries. Just another very cheap product that doesn't do what it's supposed to do. In the future I can't trust them to prevent a fire!

Was scrap. Both exploded immediately after switching on. They were rated for 80 amps but the remote fuse panel was only 30 amps and they both smoked within seconds. Plugged in an old school 80A fuse and all was fine for several weeks of daily use. Wouldn't recommend or buy again.

I gave 4 stars because when trying to use weatherproof tips the breaker had no continuity even when in the set position. By loosening the plastic ends, the chain has continuity. Luckily I didn't need the waterproof specs and was able to permanently remove the ends.

Like many other people in the review field, I've been a victim of the same problem with circuit breakers. Ride out of the blue even when you're barely half charged. I installed two of these, one on the solar array coming off the roof of my RV and one from the charge controller to the battery and the second you start drawing current. They are essentially living on borrowed time as it usually shuts down in the next few minutes.

I am adding this switch to my solar system from the controller to the battery. First plugged in my controller, shows all data, but after a while it turned off by itself. Not suitable for solar. It adds line resistance and heats up. Because of this, performance fluctuates and drops. I've had a set of these that I've been using for about a year and when the sun comes out and my panels are putting out 400 watts the output drops every 30 seconds and then back down to 400 watts. I bought and installed two of these to use as disconnects and circuit breakers. One for the battery circuit and one for the solar panels. However, they are very difficult to reset if you press the button to disable them. I thought I had a bad solar regulator until I checked the voltage with a voltmeter.
