Not the best choice for wireless Zaurus networks (close to second?)

Reliable now that it works. It connects to my SMC base station at full speed and stays connected. Wireless browsing in Opera works great! Since this requires you to edit files in Zaurus, I wouldn't recommend this product to everyone. Find a wireless card from the supported list if you just want to plug it in and get it working. Do yourself a favor and download the open source wireless monitor app before trying to diagnose the problem. It will tell you if Zaurus failed to detect the map, signalโ€ฆ

If you have a Dell X5 - don't buy it!

I have a Dell X5. This device is not recognized at all. After contacting Linksys product support and waiting several days for a response, they were not even remotely helpful. I have detailed all the steps to install the device and the issues reported by my X5. Apparently they were slow to read the details and told me to follow the instructions in the documentation that came with it. In my post I asked them if I should buy a Socket Low Power device and they recommended I do so if I can't getโ€ฆ

Rock straight out of the box!

First of all thanks for Revane's super speed. Even with free "Super Saver" shipping, the item was delivered to my New York apartment in less than 36 hours after ordering, eight days before it was supposed to arrive (shocking, surprises you, doesn't it). Unlike these. that the wifi card was not working i had a great experience. I have an HP iPaq 2110 with Windows Pocket PC 2003 SE. The Linksys card worked straight away with the software on the CD that came with it (meaning I didn't even have toโ€ฆ

Another winner from Linksys

This card was very difficult to install. I had to: 1) open the package 2) turn on the Zaurus 5500 (V3.10 ROM) 3) plug in the Linksys card 4) set up the network connection 5) get online and get email I want everything in life to be like this difficult. :) WCF12 seems to have a very good range. It consistently shows higher signal strength than the built in WiFi card in my Sharp SL6000 anywhere. I'm not sure how I would rate the power consumption as this is the first and only wireless card I ownโ€ฆ

Very important! - Computer Accessories & Peripherals

Got this card for my Axim and it works great when it works. The install on my Axim wasn't that smooth due to something (maybe WCF12 software or PPC 2K2) causing IE not to use WCF12 for the network. Using the old WAP11 and multiple WPC11's with this card and connectivity would crash from time to time requiring a reboot and reinstall of the card. However, I can't be sure if this is due to my v1 WAP11 and WPC11 or WCF12. The software could manage the different profiles better without me having toโ€ฆ
