I have a real 4k monitor (LG31MU97) running at 4096x2160@60hz and I was hoping I could toggle it but the monitor just gets black/no signal. If I resize it to 3840 x 2160 it works, or if I reduce it to 50Hz. It doesn't seem to do the full DP 1.2. I like the remote switch, but the display ports don't seem to support true 4k.

I repeat it doesn't support DP1.2 as stated here, the difference is that since it only supports DP1.0 you only get a 4K image at 30Hz. In this case I don't see the point of paying much more to use a DP over HDMI connection. Any other KVM switch that only uses the HDMI interface will give you the same picture specifications, 4K at 30Hz, and cost you less than half what this Clau device costs. Sellers are not honest in…

I needed a simple solution to switch my monitor, keyboard and mouse between my home and work computers. My friend recommended it to me and I wanted to try it. Connected in 5 minutes. It works exactly as described. Plugged it in, turned on each computer and pressed a button to switch back and forth. It was so easy to use.
