PURCHASING AN ITEM FOR MY MOTHER WHO HAS PROBLEMS READING THE OLD PHONE ID SCREEN. THE PHONE WAS EASY TO SET UP AND THE SCREEN WAS READABLE WITHOUT YOUR GLASSES. THE PHONE HAS SIMPLE KEYS. SHE COULD USE THE SYSTEM WITH A LITTLE HELP. MOTHER IS SATISFIED WITH THE SYSTEM.

This device turned out to be everything I was used to from a desk phone: tiltable caller ID, hands-free function, large alphanumeric keypad. What it does NOT have is a backlight to make reading the caller ID easier. It is read in black letters/numbers on a dark gray background.
