According to the ad, the upper is made of something called nubuck. I read that it looks like suede. If so, then it's lint-free suede. Reminds me of leather in sheepskin jackets. Photos in the ad showed that the rubber material in the band below was a different shade of black than the one above. i have white Otherwise the shoes are very comfortable and light. However, the pair I received had some quality control issues, the glue didn't apply well. I can be picky, but given the $130 retail price, this is a bit sloppy. Secondly, the shoes are not completely white, but rather chalk white. Something to keep to yourself if you're looking for "white" sneakers.

I get this weird bun through the first pair of eyelets, the skin doesn't sit flat. It doesn't look good, I can't fix it. The shoes are incredibly comfortable and fit perfectly, I'm 11.5 sometimes 12.

These shoes did not come in the correct box or with padding on the inside of the shoe so it looks like they are a little torn. I really like the shoes themselves and they are very comfortable.

Very happy to find 9.5 Wide. Not an easy size to find. These shoes actually look dark gray rather than glossy black. But we keep them because the size fits!

The shoes are really comfortable. The only thing that could be improved would be to make the insole more slip resistant as I felt like my foot was constantly slipping in the shoe.

Clarks are great shoes but "AmazingValueGoods" sent me a defective one (the second one from the factory). the right side of the shoe is broken and looks ugly when walking in it. I live abroad, a return is not possible. :(

The soles of both shoes creaked. I bought a pair of these from Clarks a while ago and have had no problems. I bought a black pair on ebay and both shoes squeak! I will switch, I hope the second pair does not creak. Otherwise they are super comfortable and the price is great.

I love these sneakers! After a hike in the mountains I thought they were damaged but the dirt immediately came off and they looked brand new.
