Almost suitable for covers

I have a 2003 Ford Excursion and the front and sides are longer than the cover. It covers the most important parts, but is not long enough at the front to close the hood properly. From the photo it looks like you have extra room to drop the front and sides but it doesn't drop as it is shaped for a narrower front (hood area) and the boot doesn't stretch even by my mirrors . add. I secured the fronts in the wheel wells with big clips to keep the front end from popping out, but I think we'll see…

  • Everything is fine!

UPDATE 2/27/18 Skip this

update. PHOTOS ARE TERRIBLELY APPLIED! Can't even handle the basics. It rained for the first time on this coating and failed miserably. It does NOT repel water but allows water to pass through and traps it. Mixed with the dust that gets under the tarpaulin because it dangles in even a light wind, there is now dirt under the tarpaulin. Now the inside of the lid is a mess. Putting it back on the car may scratch the paint. I'm probably better off without it on my machine. IMO: Pay the extra money…

Custom size for external accessories

First the dimensions. Measured along the length of the car. It seems that you just need to look at the specifications of the car and order according to the length of your car. nope The manufacturer does not take into account the height and width correctly. So while you have a case that fits in length, the lid ridiculously lacks width. I also have a sedan, not a large SUV, so while the cover fits the length of my car perfectly, the sides only reach about the middle of the door! It looked like…

Perfect match for my 2003 Mitsubishi Evo

Every fall I park my competitor Mitsubishi Evo 8 and end up pulling the trigger on the cover for it. In the off-season, my garage gets very dusty. I didn't need full $$$ coverage for a car so I decided to try this route first. So far, so good. The cover fits fairly well (check out the classic accessories page) with the rubber band under the front lip and the underside of the rear bumper cover as it should be. The sides are about 4 inches off the ground which is perfect for me. Access to the…

Absolute rubbish - lasted just over a year IN my garage

I bought it, read all the reviews and chose this case because it met my criteria from those reviews. I used it primarily as a dust cover for my 1984 Indy Fiero Pace Car. This car is 99% garaged and usually only comes out when I need to lower the kayaks. In such cases, the car cannot stay on the road for more than a weekend. So a year and a week later. It's total garbage. It fell apart when I took it off on my first kayak trip of the year. Apparently there is a three-year guarantee. You can see…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine

WARNING: This will start to relax after just a few months!

A lot of people liked this case at first - it's thicker and stronger than most; the edge/rim rubber is strong and hugs the bottom of the car really snugly when you pull it over the car; and the price is pretty decent too. I used it for the first time in July and now after only 3 months (although the car was in the shade of a big tree all day!) the coating is starting to "bloom". It's also NO WEATHER PROTECTION - after the desert monsoon (a brief downpour that can last as little as half an hour)

Slightly loose on Nissan 350Z

Replaced my old California car cover with this one. The CA cover was much thicker, but after a few years it became brittle and I punched holes in it just by removing it. The CA cap fitted much better, but the elastic failed over time. This shell of classic accessories feels thin and a bit "crispy". It doesn't have enough paint protection on the inside, but it does, or at least enough that I don't mind using a coating. Let's see how much dust this lets through as my CA cap would have left extra…
