My son and I flew on his plane with EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. We rested next to the plane for a week. Use this to tether the plane. There was a rule and it worked really well.

This product is designed to hold airplanes. I use it to stabilize my camper tent in strong winds. It is very easy to use and works very well. I particularly like the highly visible size, color and shape that prevent others from tripping over the straps.

I used it to secure my plane to a dry lake bed and although I appreciated the light hammer that was included it didn't work very well in these conditions. Please note that the set includes 1 long piece of rope, so be prepared to cut it and use a lighter to reduce wear and tear on first use.

If you need to mount your plane and are out of mounts on the ramp, this is your best bet. These things hold the earth, you won't believe it! If you ever fly to Oshkosh with Airventure, this is a must. All planes at the airport must be tethered, no exceptions!

These things work GREAT! They were easy to put in and held up well. I bought this kit for my RV and used two for the awning and one for my satellite dish. My ONLY concern is how well they handle side loading. In that respect alone, they seem a bit flimsy. Time will tell, but I don't expect any problems. For straight pull they are great.

This claw system held my RV-7 through 3 nights of heavy storms in Oshkosh this year (2019) with no problems. No problem. I drove the spikes into the damp soil with the sole of my boot and left the 3/4 pound hammer at home. It takes a bit of effort to remove, but it was easy enough without her smart hammer. Expensive but hey. You buy it once!

Works well and will definitely last! I welded on the nail heads for extra reinforcement. factory welding under the head a little light? Still a weak point. However, the included hammer is unusable. Throw it away and buy a small hatchet. The ax will be slightly heavier and better at driving nails, as well as being an additional "troubleshooting tool". fly safe

I just flew to Oshkosh for an air show and camped there. I never need mounting kits as I keep my plane on a hanger and park it on hard surfaces when not at my base. However, it worked flawlessly and is recommended by AOPA and other aviation organizations. My only complaint is that the whole thing is quite heavy, but I think it has to be to hold a 3000lb plane through a storm.

These are excellent strong ties. I have several gardening activities that require me to provide shade using 10' x 20' tents. Many times a year it is very difficult to bury a conventional auger mount in the ground. They are very easy to spread and hammer spikes into the ground with a nail hammer; and they are very easy to remove when broken. I recommend you try it; But be prepared to come back after the other three, so you have 4 in total. Also, they are available for every bind app.
