One of the best options for an indoor/outdoor cat

One of the best options for an indoor/outdoor cat. I have a wilder cat that often loses the collar, but my older, slower cat takes forever. I like to think that the bell and the bright colors help keep them from getting killed.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • No instructions

security problem! in collars

This got stuck in my cat's jaw so I can't use it. It's tight enough on her, but her jaw gets stuck in the part that folds in half when she's little, then tightens the collar so tight I'm afraid she might be out of breath! I've used about 5 minutes several days in a row and this has happened every time so we won't be using that! It's not very soft either. The lift is pretty tricky so don't use it for light cats.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Bad impression

Nice collar but opens too easily

Nice collar but breaks too easily and I always have to look for it around the house. Also, it doesn't stay the size you set it to, but instead slips into a larger size. The locking ring does not hold well. Overall, this is probably the best breakaway clamp I've tried, but it's far from perfect. I really liked the pink color of our wife Ming. As it is painted grey, it suits her very well. :)

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Empty

For everyone's safety: collars, harnesses and leashes

Post a photo soon. I am in a wheelchair with a monstrous 450 pound capacity. My husband rescued two little kittens, apparently siblings. The woman has significant hearing loss and tilts her head to the right when not playing. After many tests, our vet believes she was born this way. She is fast and playful. We want a lightweight collar that comes off and doesn't put too much pressure on her neck. The call is a safety factor. I will be able to hear the bell as I move around our home and know her

Pros
  • Super for me
Cons
  • So far so good

rupture clasp jams; it does not open. Dangerous.

Today I had to remove the collar from the cat to attach a new dog tag. I have removed this collar several times and it always opens with a strong jerk. So I pulled to open the clasp, but it didn't budge. I pulled harder. It didn't open. I pulled as hard as I could without startling or hurting the cat and it stayed closed. I ended up having to cut off the collar. After removing the cat, I pulled on the ends with all my might to release the clasp. It took a lot of strength but in the end my hands

Pros
  • handy thing
