Not worth the frustration

This product promised to make decoding my car's alarm system easy, but it just left me feeling more confused and frustrated. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I was able to eventually figure it out on my own. The only pro is that it comes with instructions, but they were convoluted and poorly written. The cons outweigh any potential benefits with this product.

Pros
  • Easy to install and use.
Cons
  • Requires cutting and splicing of factory wiring which may void vehicle warranty.

No need to connect power cables when used with Flashlogic modules

No LED display, not that it works but it Needed as an adapter for my remote kit CODEALARM CALCD2 EXTENDED-RANGE of May 2nd to work with my Flashlogic remote start module.

Pros
  • Connects Flashlogic plug-n-play remote data trigger systems to remote range extender systems, CA1B, CA4B, CA2LED, CA2LCD
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
