Quality Tool for Secure Workholding

After trying this workholding tool, I'm impressed with its ease of use and strong grip. The design allows for efficient clamping of workpieces and the stainless steel construction ensures durability. The alligator/crocodile jaws offer a unique grip that adds versatility to my work. The only downside is that it may not be suitable for larger workpieces.

Pros
  • Stylish and unique design that stands out
Cons
  • There are nuances

Good set for the money but weak springs.

You get a lot for the money but they are very light and have a weak spring. .I bought a couple from Radio Shack over twenty years ago which are still very durable and work great. You get what you pay for, although if you plug in the wires and actually use them as test leads, they "may" be strong enough.

Pros
  • Spring clips
Cons
  • Very expensive

Good set for the money but weak springs.

They get a lot for the money but they are very light and have a weak spring. I use mine as scale model clamps and for my purposes they are too weak to be useful. I have bought several from Radio Shack for over twenty years, which are still very solid and work well, although if you attached the wires and actually used them for test leads, they "might" be solid enough.

Pros
  • Dimensions: 51 mm x 12 mm x 7 mm / 2.0" x 0.4" x 0.27" (L*W*D) Max. jaw opening width: 9 mm / 0.35 in.
Cons
  • Not sure
