Great Product - Engine Cooling and Air Conditioning

Easy to install, looks great, features are great and keeps my jeep cooler than ever. Instructions were dead dead right on installing it was a breeze, highly recommend for anyone needing a radiator replacement.

  • Certified

Cold Case - Spare Parts

Although this is a good product, installation was a bit difficult but it fits. Since it describes it as being larger than stock I called the manufacturer about some cuts on the top and bottom of the heatsink but they said they did it on purpose to help with the flex.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Compatibility

Cools much better than the original

The cooler is at least 50% thicker than the original. It cools my Jeep much better than the stock cooler. I didn't reuse the side plastic pieces that direct air to the heatsink, it's the top plastic protective piece when installed. The sides were old and brittle and the top was stiff so I gave up. The top posts of the 1/4" fan studs are too long, allowing the fan to have little clearance to the heatsink. I don't think it hurts performance. Jeep no longer overheats. My old radiator may be…

Impressive heatsinks

I was impressed when I opened the box to see how well protected this thing was. The core size is impressive and it fits just like it should. The kit includes all the necessary screws and even a new radiator cap. I will definitely consider Cold Case for any new radiator I need. If you need a cooler, consider the Cold Case option.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • unreliable

Worst product: will be phased out and no support

Disagree not only did mine start leaking maybe 45 days later I have tried to contact the manufacturer for a refund or replacement and never have get an answer. Thing is, I have a $350 piece of junk in my garage. The product sucks and the company doesn't care if the product you buy works or not. I will add photos of the broken POS when I can. Look elsewhere

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I will write later

Doesn't last at all

For the price I expected the cooler to last longer than the stock junk with plastic side tanks. What I got is one failure after less than a year under 10,000 miles. They sent me a replacement and now 6 months later, about 5,000 miles, the second one is defective. There might be a lifetime guarantee, but it's not worth it. Both radiators began to flow along the core. Don't waste your money on this product because it won't last.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Hard to say

Failed after only 650 miles and 60 days

I bought this cooler thinking it would be a great replacement for a leaking stock cooler. The fit was good but the product didn't hold up at all. Drove just over 650 miles in the jeep then relocated the next month or so due to Covid. Rode it in the hills last week and claimed to have noticed a crash on the driver's side. Upon inspection, I found a new cooler leaking from the inner core somewhere on the left side. Not impressed!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Modern
