One size larger! Helped my dog tremendously. I used to not be able to walk with her without ripping off my arm, but now we can finally walk well together!

The seat belt is too long. My dog got his foot caught in it. I had to swap for a larger size as he has a short snout and wide neck. Be sure to measure both before ordering. Hats are great and I encourage people to use them.

I put it on for the first time the clasp broke under the chin when trying to adjust the size. The clasp is huge so there was very little room to work when adjusting, and the straps were wider than needed leaving almost no room to make the strap hole big enough.

This is the second collar for my St. Bernard puppy. He grew out of the first. He's a lot easier to deal with when he's wearing this. I took him for a walk on a martingale collar and he just dragged me along. With a collar I can walk with one finger. He hates wearing it and paws every time I put it on, but it's effective.

The size chart is very accurate. This suggests size XL for my German Shepherd but I order L. L is a bit small for him. I should have gotten an XL. My fault aside, I like the smooth ride. I find it much easier to control my dog. And it puts a lot less strain on my back because it doesn't pull as hard anymore. I would recommend this product to anyone training their dog.

I have a 1.5 year old Doberman who is energetic and loves to pull and bark at people on walks. ideas. EDIT: Now that I've had it for 2 months I'm updating my review. So, it was great, the first maybe 5 times I used it. After that we spent more than half of the walk with him trying to wipe it off his face. We did about 40 walks in total and today it pulled a little harder than usual and just snapped it in half.
