    warm, quality cut, plenty of room for growing kids, nice color, hood doesn't block the view, as do arm warmers, quality zipper, excellent warranty

    Great jacket and fits great. Perfect for slightly cold and chilly. Definitely not a jacket for sub-zero temperatures and not designed for snow, but it is ideal for cool autumn and early winter.

    issue with flash

    The jacket is very warm and looks good. The only problem is that the zipper ALWAYS gets stuck when zipping the jacket up. I have to try to sew the excess fabric back in so it doesn't happen again.

    thinner than expected

    This coat fits my 8 year old son, we have the perfect color 10/12. He likes the longer sleeves so he can tuck his arms in, this is a thin coat, not too thick. It's getting cold here in Iowa. It protects against wind and water. However, I don't know what will happen when the old winter comes.

    I just ordered it and my son didn't have a chance to test it in very cold weather but he loves the design and fits well. Seems to be a good design.

    Sizes are standard. Very well done. Very nice light blue with dark blue. Bought for my 11 year old son who is bad with coats, no problems so far. You can't win for less than $60 for Columbia.

    Excellent purchase in my opinion

    I bought the Columbia jacket specifically for my son as we have had good luck with Columbia outerwear in the past. It warms, does not wear out and is spacious enough for several years. I was very happy with this purchase. The jacket is new, in factory packaging, delivered quickly. The fit is a little big, but the Columbia is trimmed generously, which is what I expected. Thank you for a great product, good price and fast shipping.

    My son is usually cold. This kept him warm, dry and playing in the snow for hours. We'll have to see how he fares on the snowboard later this season.

    Nice but small good for me

    This coat is small and insulation seems easy. I ended up going back and buying the Columbia Boy's Alpine Action Jacket which is looser and has more advanced insulation and at a lower price.

    This coat fits my 8 year old son we have a 10/12 Perfect colour. It's getting cold here in Iowa. It protects against wind and water. However, I don't know what will happen when the old winter comes.

    Black looks bright

    My little boy loves this jacket and so do I. For many years I have bought him clothes that are slightly larger for comfort. But as he ages, the perfect fit, especially in a coat, matches his warmth. Too big and air circulates everywhere. He has to warm up or his nose will run. I don't like the black color for little kids but the pattern matches his school backpack. He looks so well put together when getting dressed that I don't pay attention to the color.

    Good winter jacket

    The quality of the jacket and materials is excellent and I think it's a great price. The only thing I would change is that the hood is not detachable. My 10-year-old son is picky about winter jackets - he wants to be able to play outdoor sports during his breaks without overheating or restricting his movements too much inside the jacket. This jacket is well lined, making it a little chunkier than he probably would have preferred. However, I think it will keep him warm throughout the winter…
