Not the most comfortable shoes

The shoes feel like wearing a shoe. You are very warm. I would recommend these for cold weather use if you feel you need a boot.

Pros
  • It is very good in cold and snowy weather.
Cons
  • The laces are too short and tend to unravel

Amazing shoes. in my opinion

This shoe is incredibly comfortable. The only thing that annoys me is that I thought I was ordering ballistic ones and not leather ones. I've had one made of leather before, one on one, which breeds a little more. But these are great shoes. I have two low tops and two ankle boots and they all fit the same. I don't mind having four pairs of these.

Pros
  • Cool running shoes
Cons
  • Insoles are not removable

Lightweight and waterproof

Bought these shoes for a trip to Ireland. You were wonderful. Lightweight, waterproof, easy to clean. Worn on camping trips and to the pub.

Pros
  • Great support and very comfortable
Cons
  • Shoes do not provide enough arch support

Seems to be a good choice so far.

A bit tight but they seem to take the shape of my foot like any shoe after wear. There were no discoloration issues as some people have noted. So far so good and for the price you really can't find anything comparable.

Pros
  • love the product. Can wear it in many different uses.
Cons
  • Shoes can be noisy when walking

Colombia's new trash show

This is my third pair of Peak Freaks. These are strong and durable shoes that I have come to love. In the latest version, they've gone from sewn-on grommets to cheap rivets. Of course I cannot recommend this shoe. I think what upsets me the most is having to replace my favorite style of shoe because of the new stuff Columbia is releasing. Nothing compares qualitatively to a product from a year or two ago. If you can find an old version with stitched eyes, take it. These are great shoes.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Shoes are not suitable for all foot types.

The shoes look very reliable and the feet stay dry for an hour

My son said he wanted to get his dad some waterproof shoes for Father's Day. I left with that. Excellent purchase. Everything we wanted

Pros
  • Fit well, very comfortable. would recommend. I only sent them back because I didn't like the color when I received them.
Cons
  • Don't buy leather unless you want to support the enslavement and premature slaughter of the innocent.

Great shoe with excellent arch support.

This particular shoe has been discontinued but this seller had some stock which I am very grateful for as this particular shoe design was great but it's gone at least I got one of the last pairs of this quality shoe.

Pros
  • I am very happy with the shoes, they are totally waterproof
Cons
  • Shoes are too expensive for their quality

Not very flexible in my opinion

The product fit well. The shoes are very stiff, difficult to bend. We were hoping these would be good shoes for car wash jobs but they are too heavy. When water entered the shoes, the shoes rubbed the feet a little, resulting in blisters. I went for a lighter Nike mesh that dries easier and is more flexible.

Pros
  • Thanks
Cons
  • Shoes feel bulky on the foot

NOT WATERPROOF - my new review

I bought them in April 5 months ago for my boyfriend to wear to the golf course he works on in the fall. Since then he must have worn it ten times. He put them on yesterday while walking on the wet grass and his feet got wet, I don't say wet, I mean socks soaking wet. As for WATER RESISTANCE like a sieve, that's a joke.

Pros
  • Great shoes for hiking. They are very durable and waterproof. These are my favorite hiking shoes
Cons
  • Shoes don't hold up well when wet

Will buy again after 4 years of use.

Bought these in July 2017 for a trip to Ireland - needed waterproof but comfortable shoes. Since then I have driven it many, many kilometers and noticed that my tread has worn down. Buy again!

Pros
  • Very comfortable and confident in slippery conditions!
Cons
  • Shoes are not versatile enough for everyday use.

Great waterproof shoes

They work as advertised. My first day in them was in pouring rain and my feet were completely dry. They are very comfortable, I can stand in them all day. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • These shoes are affordable.
Cons
  • The toe box is too small and not enough room for toe movement.

Better than expected!

Very good shoes, narrow like my feet. Fit perfectly and are waterproof. I can wear them while hiking, camping, hunting or at work. Great versatile shoe.

Pros
  • I really liked the boots, the size is exactly mine, comfortable and comfortable. I recommend to everyone.
Cons
  • Shoes don't come in trendy colors

Great walking shoes

The Columbia Peakfreak is well made for the price and a great hiking shoe. They provide good support and that's one of the good reasons I use these shoes for lifting weights. I usually wear a size 10.5D. For this shoe I ordered a size 11 to fit my foot better.

Pros
  • could not be better
Cons
  • Outer material not as strong as it should be

Great shoes good for me

Fits perfectly. Very comfortable and supportive. The materials feel durable and the darker color hides stains and dirt. It looks like it's built to last.

Pros
  • Much more comfortable than I expected
Cons
  • Shoes need time to break in

I really wanted these shoes to fit for my upcoming trip to Iceland but due to sizing limitations I had to go for the 11.5/D which was too small especially in the toe area. I've also tried them on with very thin socks, so any dressy wool socks or hiking socks increase the need for plus sizes.

Pros
  • Very comfortable shoes! Protects against bad weather.
Cons
  • Shoes may not last long with frequent use

Remove the insole and put Dr. sound on.

Yes, these shows are too narrow. But I found the shoe to fit perfectly (albeit half a size larger than what I normally wear) after I put the insole through a standard Dr. Schools. In fact, I have found that with Dr. Scholl get more freedom and better care. As far as the shoes fit. There is no loss. And yet the shoe fits much better than any other winter hiking shoe I've worn (or tried on in the store). I have normal size from Dr. Schools. None of the fancy versions that get fatter. I have found

Pros
  • I had a second pair. The first pair lasted three years. I usually wear out shoes in less than a year. Very convenient.
Cons
  • Shoes don't provide enough support

Surprisingly comfortable without even breaking them in

I'm not a fan of exaggerations so consider my comments here as something I really believe in. These are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn straight out of the box. It feels like I've already broken her. I bought them for an upcoming trip to Alaska. Today I regret that I couldn't find shoes that were as comfortable over ten years ago when my son and I were active Boy Scouts. I recommend them with enthusiasm.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Expensive

Exceeded my expectations!

Don't write too many reviews but I have to write about them! I ordered wonderful shoes before my trip to Germany last October. I needed a versatile shoe that was good for walking around town, hiking, and had some waterproofing and they were fantastic. I did the whole trip in these shoes and I felt very comfortable the whole trip. Can't recommend her more!

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Looks

Comfortable, waterproof, presentable.

I'm writing this review because I'm back to buy a second pair. My husband is very picky when it comes to shoes. It has a narrow heel, a wide toe and a high arch. His knees hurt in bad shoes. He's a college professor and does quite a bit of walking across campus and back twice a day and lectures standing for hours. This morning he told me how happy he was with them, they are comfortable, waterproof and go well with his khakis. Normally we have to buy him new shoes for every school year. They've…
