It works great pulling about 4-5 gallons of water from the harvest room daily. This dehumidifier works very well, the only problem with it is cleaning the filter. My device is in my crawl space and not easily accessible. Two round trips are required to service the filter. I would like two filters so I would only have to make one trip to have the unit repaired, which I have given repeatedly to order a filter with no response.

UPDATE: The pump stopped working and after a support rep asked me to do a stupid reset which involved shaking the pump 10 times to get the bubbles out, they wanted me to 80 Give dollars in compensation for the inconvenience and then I have to buy a new pump. What good is a 3-year warranty if you don't replace key components that don't work? I was looking for a dehumidifier for our basement. After trying another one, we found this one. It's quite big and bulky to go underground. Make sure you have a few strong people to help you. I'm sure it's overkill given the amount of square feet we have, but it really works! Not bad to install. Takes a little time but it depends on where you need to install it. We have a monitor in the basement so we can check the humidity and temperature in the house. That would also be a good investment.
