I bought this hat because here in Utah they have very cold winds and a lot of sun even in winter so I wanted a long brimmed hat to shade mine Eyes. The hat came quickly - it's very soft, quite warm, I really like the faux fur earflaps and neck brace. The only thing that bothers me is that it's a bit big. I gave this hat 5 stars even though it is SHADOW (just shadow) too small. Everything else is perfect. Finished in classic gray, the ear cups snap into the up position, eliminating the need for zip ties to snag or tie with gloves; I mean like a guy is a cold weather hat. When the flaps are down they definitely cover the ears and keep them warm. Roomy and quite sturdy so I hope it lasts a long time. And the seller sent some maintenance and cleaning tips which I have actually read and will follow.

I usually wear a 7 1/8 to 7 1/4 cowboy hat so I ordered a medium sized one with ear buds. fits perfectly.
