Bought one of these despite some reviews saying they didn't work well on the outside - I've had so many great Command products that I was sure I'd be fine. Well, I was wrong! It simply WILL NOT stick to surfaces on the outside. I had to use both strips and they just fell off and the strip wasn't sticky at all afterwards. I'm a longtime Command user and I'm in shock. It stinks because the hook itself is very, very strong and beautiful. Waste of time - return!

EXTREMELY DELIGHTED with this command outdoor metal hook! I followed the step by step instructions to hang this exposed metal hook on our glass door for me to hang our summer wreath. To my surprise, the metal hook didn't stick to the glass door at all! When ordering, I even made sure to get a larger hook for our little wreath. POOR PRODUCT AND DESIGN! I ended up going to the hobby lobby to buy a suction hook for us to hang our wreath on and guess what, it's hanging on the glass door!

Great for a street wreath! However, it doesn't have much clearance between the piece on the wall and the hook. So if you have a large or thick wreath, and as I commented to another reviewer, do as I do. Purchase Green Floral Wire from the Hobby Lobby. or Michaels, or any craft, or maybe hardware store, and thread it around or through the wreath wire or wood materials on the back of the wreath, then make a loop (as big as you want it to fall off the command hook). then tie it off - then hang…
