My dog gives him 5 paws!

Door as described and easy to assemble. I used a small vise to hold the frame in place while I screwed in the screws. C-clamps also work. My dog learned it in about 2 hours and it works great! It's not just a panel, it's freedom! Freedom for the dog to come and go in the fenced backyard. Freedom for me not to open the door to let the dog in and out!

Good dog flap, easy to install

Does what it's supposed to do and does it well. Decent quality material. Installation was very easy and straightforward. Of course there are a lot of screws, but it's worth taking the time to install all the screws. Don't skip a single screw. My dog nudges him when I hold him. My dog also likes to look into the cutout of the paw (window). The carved paw is fully functional and I didn't realize my dog would actually use it.

Brilliant! on the door

This is a great product! Very easy to install and very durable. I thought this dog door might compromise my screen door, but the screen is not compromised. It took some dog treats to teach this pup to come and go as he pleases. I am very happy with my purchase. By the way, I first bought the larger Revain dog flap, I didn't notice the smaller size when ordering. I saw a smaller version on the factory box. I went back to Revain and returned the larger dog door in a smaller size, they advertised…

Cons
  • Some imperfections

We have a privacy screen on our patio and are tired of going out on the patio to let the dogs in and out. We then adopted an outdoor cat and it became necessary to have a pet door so she could enter and exit the patio by herself to eat and sleep. It was very easy to set up and after showing the cat a few times, she got in and out. It took the dogs about two weeks to figure it out. lol They stood at the door or stood at the pet door and looked at me. After two weeks of persuading them back and…

  • Cord is shorter than others

does not ensure tightness and does not always close completely

the door has a gap almost around the entire perimeter, which is enough for mosquitoes - although I tried to cut out part of the lattice from the lattice so that it does not work further dangling in the hole, I cut it out with a razor. The plastic door hinge is not very strong and sometimes does not close completely. So if, like me, you like feeding mosquitoes, you can get one of the more expensive models. My dog uses it and loves it and it doesn't let most large insects through unless left…

Good Pet Door in Doors

This is a good pet door. Durable and well made. However, it was difficult to install on top of the durable pet gate on the side wall of the mesh room. It did NOT snap onto the thick screen so had to be pulled off and held together with screws and bolts from each side. But after about an hour it was installed and instead of using the cat flap, which my homeless man must have been afraid of, I simply used a box cutter to cut the inner screen along the bottom and almost to the top on both sides…

So easy to install, the dog loves it!

Installation is so easy I didn't even have to remove the door. I used a small screwdriver and a coupon cutter from my kitchen drawer and installed it in about 10 minutes. . A busy mom and I easily made it on our own. They were amazing and provided some extra bolts and washers. Glad I lost one while holding the puck because they are so tiny. .If you are doing it yourself, push through and tighten the top two screws, then go around them one screw at a time, squeezing the sides together. My dog…

Great product! best for doors, gates and ramps

I LOVE this cat door, it fits snugly over my sliding screen door so my cat doesn't keep wanting in and out every few minutes. (I had to pay someone to install it as I couldn't secure it tight enough to insert the short screws.) It's best to leave it open at first until the cat gets used to using it and to smell it. Today (after 3 weeks awake) my cat came by itself for the first time! I complimented her and gave her Greenies. The only thing that was a little frustrating is that you can't pull it

Works great with two exceptions

I'm a professional (builder/contractor for a living). This is a good product with a few caveats to be aware of. Yes, if you are a little accommodating, installation is easy. Yes, the screws are small, but it's not critical. If the screws were bigger, would there be a lot of articles about how inconvenient big screws are? Here are two of my points that could be improved. 1. The door panel latch tabs are very small and not easy to latch to keep the door closed. You pretty much have to open the…
