Cheap metal, philips head disintegrated on use

Using the small philips head to remove the back of a late 2011 MacBook pro, I noticed some bits of metal appearing and magnetically sticking to the tip. Closer examination revealed bits of the tip itself were breaking off. I cannot recommend tools with such poor performance.

  • Inexpensive, medium quality, worked for my needs; opening up a laptop.

  • The tool set may not be very durable and may not last for an extended period of use
