Purple socks fit very well. The space in the sock is not too short for the foot length. My very wide calves are snug, but not too tight. The shank length from ankle to knee was long enough but not so long that I had to turn the sock up. Overall I'd say this pair of socks fit exactly as it should. And I liked the color.
