Worked for me and how I did it

Although I had no luck with the corner connectors, these worked quite well. I added some LED strips under our kitchen cabinets, in several different areas, so I had to connect them to the same power source. We learned a few lessons, but once we learned them, things went pretty smoothly. how did i do it My first LED strips have a very thick water resistant coating and these connectors seem to be made for them with a domed top. So I left the rubber jacket intact. We've also separated each of the…

China produces poor quality and most do not work

One in ten may work partially. The connector consists of 4 thin pieces of metal, each piece connects a light filament on one end and a wire on the other end. These pieces of metal are paper thin and sharp on each end. The end that connects to the light string's copper contact sometimes doesn't penetrate clear silicone, and it's less likely to go through the copper to make contact. The end connected to the wire is better, but hardly. If the punch doesn't go through all sides of the 4x2 the first

Takes patience but works great

available I saw some people had trouble with this so it worked for me. I use them for the back of my TV so I needed 4 separate strips connected together. Those are silicone coated waterproof strips and those connectors turned out to be the right ones. The easiest way I've found is to cut into strips. Take 1 strip, fold back the backing paper, open the connector 90 degrees and insert the strip into the connector. Make sure it fits into the rounded side of the connector. Then I cut small strips…

I WISH this would work.

Was hoping this would allow me to connect the LED lights above the kitchen cabinets to the section under the cabinets. I had to make 3 wires. After running the wire through my cabinets, I attempted to attach the connectors. You need to separate the 4 wires a bit to match the slots in the connector and then crimp them. Attach the LED strip to the other end. I used the internal non-waterproof version of the LED strip. It doesn't provide a strong bond as the tape is expected to be thicker (the…

These jobs require some patience. Tips below

Despite bad reviews, they work. I hand soldered the 5050 LED strips so I have some assembly experience. There are some installation tips. (I used TP Link Kasa Waterproof Tape Lighting Version (KL400L5) WIRE SIDE1) Each connector has two sides. If you look closely, one side has plastic channels (the longer side) while the shorter side doesn't. 2) Make sure you fold the covers back so you can fully insert the cables, they can bend a little less than 90 degrees 3) Make sure you pull the cables…
