I bought it for myself, a woman, and the hat is a bit big even with the straps tightened. It's also warm, comfortable and ideal for wearing at night due to its reflectivity.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hat. It is very well made and quite warm. Others have said it's not windproof, but I wouldn't agree. And my hat didn't have any strong smells when it was new. The attachment system works very well, as does any plastic cover. Buy this hat. You will be very happy with it.

It's not bright orange. More like light burnt umber. So if you're wearing this to show, it might be worth looking elsewhere. Probably not suitable protective clothing for the deer forest.

This is just a cheap Chinese hat. The law here at OK requires shooters to wear a certain percentage of bright orange on their body and wear a bright orange hat when using public land. He's perfect for that.

Soft, warm, with adjustable chin and back straps. It says hand wash but I think it can be machine washed. I haven't tried yet. I bought this for my husband and it's one of his favorites.
