I showed my son a lot of different sun hats at Walmart and he was definitely sure he wanted this one! He loves to! It offers great face and neck protection from the sun (but I still use and recommend sunscreen) and even splash protection as he's 4 years old and kind of still hates getting his head wet. This sun hat is better than the one we have. The hem is pulled up for shade and there is a long fabric at the back to cover the neck. Even with a chin strap, it deflates in the wind.

Great sun hat for my 6 year old who has a slightly larger head circumference. The size is adjustable and the brim of the hat is wide enough to cover the whole face. Back flaps cover the neck completely.

Gives good coverage. I don't think it blocks all the light but I'm sure it will provide some protection and my kid will actually wear it so it's great.

It was perfect for my five year old during our trip to Puerto Rico. It saved him from sunburn! Super soft, durable and comfortable!

I LOVE THIS HAT. My child has a large head (not on the growth chart) and this hat is perfect for my 1 year old although sold for ages 4+. A zipper keeps the hat in place, while the wide brim provides ample sun protection for your neck, ears, face, neck and shoulders. Also prevents excess water from getting in the eyes on the fender. Definitely puts me at ease about my little blue-eyed head.
