    Nice brush. suitable for brushes

Very happy with this brush. It holds tons of water and paint, is smooth and soft, and fun to work with. Leaves smooth watercolor streaks. The packaging could be a bit better; It was loosely packed so some hairs were bent when it arrived. But luckily I managed to get them wet and smooth them out.

Great price - Painting, painting and art supplies

I'm still not a great or even good watercolor painter. My assessment is based on the experience of using many different brushes from different manufacturers to master this task. These brushes are among the best I've ever used. They hold their shape, spread medium quickly, and hold a lot of color. Essentially, they make a difficult task easier and provide more control. To put it bluntly, when you compare this brush to my gray collection, these brushes come closest to being the best in their…

    Great price: brush sets

I have bought and used many brushes over the last few years. The ones I use the most are for painting trim around the house. But when it comes to painting my artwork or painting on canvas (I'm not actually a big artist), these brushes are by far the best in class. They hold an excellent amount of paint and I was adept at applying strokes to the canvas with the dexterity of a child crawling around the room. Needless to say, without these wonderful tools, my art would only be found in a nearby…

    The best watercolor brush ever!

The best mixed fiber watercolor brush I've found. While a little hard to find, these connoisseur brushes have a great nib, hold a lot of water, and do exactly what I want! they hold up well. I also really like it when the handle has a "scratch" end. This is my favorite brand and in my opinion far superior to any other comparable (or even more expensive) watercolor brushes I've tried! I only wish more art suppliers would carry them! Connoisseur Sable Kolinsky brushes may be more expensive, but…

Great brush survived a POOR shipping

it didn't stay in) without protection from the brush itself. The end of the brush was sticking out of the bag and the bristles were worn when I opened the packaging. Considering how roughly the brush was treated while driving, it's amazing that it didn't suffer major damage. Luckily I got a liquid form of the brush, the bristles restored instantly, and the brush looks like new. I was going to buy another brush made from these materials but will buy from another source after seeing how they…

    Great deal, great brush

Found this brush after a long search. A 1-1/2-inch round-handled taklon brush is hard to come by, and of the very few available, it costs half or less than similar brushes if you can find it. Taklon fibers are great for dry washes and rough edges, much better than sable, and the brush holds a lot of water, which is very important for large area washes and backgrounds. I use this almost exclusively for large blurs and find it good for some fine detail as well. The construction is top notch and…
