Very happy with this brush. It holds tons of water and paint, is smooth and soft, and fun to work with. Leaves smooth watercolor streaks. The packaging could be a bit better; It was loosely packed so some hairs were bent when it arrived. But luckily I managed to get them wet and smooth them out.

The best mixed fiber watercolor brush I've found. While a little hard to find, these connoisseur brushes have a great nib, hold a lot of water, and do exactly what I want! they hold up well. Found this brush after a long search. A 1-1/2-inch round-handled taklon brush is hard to come by, and of the very few available, it costs half or less than similar brushes if you can find it. Taklon fibers are great for dry washes and rough edges, much better than sable, and the brush holds a lot of water, which is very important for large area washes and backgrounds.
