Found this brush after a long search. A 1-1/2-inch round-handled taklon brush is hard to come by, and of the very few available, it costs half or less than similar brushes if you can find it. Taklon fibers are great for dry washes and rough edges, much better than sable, and the brush holds a lot of water, which is very important for large area washes and backgrounds. I use this almost exclusively for large blurs and find it good for some fine detail as well. The construction is top notch and the tip of the pen is shaped to eliminate glare. The plastic handle should stand up well, better than the lacquered handles on flat brushes with a wooden handle of the same overall size. This is beauty!
