Our zero waste policy in my area allows us to dispose of grease in a container that looks like this with green waste. There is this one and this one and they are the same. After cooking, pour the fat, throw it in the fridge, and then throw in the green waste. Also includes leftovers. (Bonus!)

These boxes are ideal for meal planning and portion control. I fill with 1/3 protein and 2/3 veggies (usually frozen as it goes fast). The 16 ounces are perfect for lunch, can be used in the microwave and the box is thrown away afterwards. It is biodegradable. No need to bring containers home and wash them up, or hunt for proper containers and lids when preparing food. I just ordered the 8 ounce size for morning oatmeal.

Great little container if you're looking for a disposable container that also freezes well. I bought these to make frozen meals for lazy days and to give to friends when they get sick and they were perfect. They're inexpensive, freeze well, are easy to write directly on the container with a pen or marker, and you don't have to worry about returning the container if you want to give food to a friend.
