Contour Products Pillow Standard Width Review

I bought this for a wedge that lifts me up a bit to breathe. In fact, this is not a "wedge" pillow. It's not much thicker than my regular bed pillow and so soft it compresses straight down when pressed or laid down. If you want something that lifts you up, this isn't it.

I have arthritis in my neck and back. I've tried all sorts of pillows. I saw a demo of this pillow and gave it a try. It's great for me to sit in bed and read and then unfold for a good night's sleep. My only issue is that it doesn't fit in a regular pillowcase and I couldn't find a suitable one. I also like to wash my pillow, but you can't wash this one.

The pillow is very small compared to the pictures. There's no point in using it any other way because it's so small. Also the sheet made for it is not good enough to reveal most of the pillow inside due to its odd shape. It's better to buy another all-in-one pillow that's bigger and does all these things a lot cheaper. Rip off. Good publicity from this site.

I have no idea who writes reviews about this pillow being too small, too soft etc. This is my second pillow. The first served almost 5 years with no glitches until it softened a bit. That's longer than I expect from a pillow. Just got a new one and it's pretty solid. I was glad that I was able to get hold of a dark blue cover this time. Bought it for my 3 year old daughter. We are both super happy.

It might be helpful to mention other recommendations when searching for this pillow. It sounded like a cat's meow when I found it, because I didn't like the typical wedge-shaped foam pad, which also made me slide down and to the side. I ignored the negative reviews. What a pity! It was the biggest waste of $39.99 I've ever thrown away. It came compressed and the instructions called for "20 minutes in a cold air dryer" to inflate. It has nothing to fill or fluff to match the ad and image. I've tried fluffing, folding, piercing, placing a small area at the bottom or a small area at the top.
